Musicality

In almost each year of middle and high school, I participated in a performing arts/musical theatre production (which sometimes drew upon my language abilities, such as in the productions of The Orphan of Zhao and The Winter We Danced), as well as the music elective in one year that led me to perform at various school assemblies (largely as a singer; sometimes playing the piano). Later, as discussed on the home page, I was a member of the Cornell University Glee Club, which was a very valuable experience. I also took a course on music composition, for which my final project is available to listen on Musescore, in addition to a few compositions made during my free time. During my semester as a visiting student at Columbia University, I have also been part of that university’s Bach Society, and have at various points made an effort to learn to play the flute and the viola.
